Horror Has A Continue — Physical CD
Horror Has A Continue is a 14-track collection of fan-made retro game tribute songs inspired by the monsters, cursed heroes, supernatural nightmares, and unforgettable horror adventures of the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis era.
Blending heavy metal, gothic hard rock, industrial rock, darkwave, horror punk, alternative metal, and atmospheric synth-rock, the album brings the darker side of 16-bit gaming to life through original Cartridge Punks songs. From relentless guitar-driven action to unsettling electronic atmospheres, each track explores a different kind of horror.
The nightmare begins with Demon's Crest, where the legendary Red Blaze battles to reclaim his stolen power. Chakan: The Forever Man follows an immortal warrior cursed to fight evil for eternity, while The Ooze explores the grotesque transformation of a man reduced to living chemical waste.
Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts brings relentless monster-fighting action and the infamous challenge of completing the adventure twice. Gargoyles explores an ancient protector awakening in a world that has forgotten him, while Castlevania: Bloodlines follows two vampire hunters across a war-torn Europe.
The darkness continues through the brutal castle combat of Nosferatu and the terrifying return of the Terror Mask in Splatterhouse 2. Zombies Ate My Neighbors delivers a frantic B-movie rescue adventure filled with chainsaw maniacs, monsters, and suburban chaos.
The final stretch brings the bizarre skull-throwing action of Decap Attack, the revenge-driven hauntings of Haunting Starring Polterguy, and the desperate struggle to survive an alien infestation in Alien 3. Clock Tower adds chilling psychological horror, where hiding and escaping are the only ways to survive.
The album closes with another Zombies Ate My Neighbors tribute, bringing the adventure back to monster-infested suburban streets for one final rescue mission before dawn.
Horror Has A Continue celebrates the darker, stranger, and more intense side of 16-bit gaming — where defeating the monster doesn't always end the nightmare, and sometimes the most frightening words are Continue?
